1:1 Coaching
Your worth is not measured by your productivity.
Stressed to Perfection
The Feeling: A bone-deep exhaustion and ever-present anxiety that hums and spikes in erratic bursts.
The Headspace: Disillusionment and disappointment; with your company, your work, yourself.
The Fear: If I slow down, I will fail.
My clients come from diverse backgrounds yet surprisingly similar pain points. They have excelled by working harder, longer, better than everyone else, but it has come at a cost, and they are finally tired of being tired. Similarly, while their coaching journeys are unique, their outcomes are remarkably alike. Exhaustion is replaced with energy and calm. Disillusionment and disappointment shift to clarity and action; on what they control, what they can do, and, when it comes to their job, whether to stay or go. And the fear is named; perfectionism. A promise wrapped around a threat that if I’m perfect enough, I will be enough. Coaching provides you with the support, accountability, and experience that Brittany’s 9 years helping burnt-out high-achievers brings, along with the compassion of someone who’s been there themselves. Through coaching you’ll create immediate change with actionable steps and practical tips, while also shifting your mindset to create sustainable change.
Experience the truth about high achievement and self-care: When you finally slow down ALL parts of your life can flourish.
Immediate Action.
Sustainable Change.
What is Coaching?
Coaching is about finding actions and making change. It is creating concrete goals, clearly outlining success, and formulating solutions specifically tailored to you. and realizing that you have the capability and resources to create lasting change for yourself. My job as your coach is to help you discover answers that work best for your unique life, to offer the occasional bit of research, strategy, or exercises that may be useful, and to work alongside you in building out your action plan. I then act as a point of accountability, assist in iterating your plan based on what is (and isn't) working, and occasionally offer an alternative perspective. Finally, as we draw to the close of our engagement, I will help you build strategies for longterm maintenance and course correction as you venture forth on your own.
What I have found in my 9 years of combined experience teaching and coaching sustainable work-life balance is that you do what you believe and you believe what you build; coaching is a partnership to help you build something you believe in.
If you are ready to do the work to create a less stressful, more rewarding professional and personal life, then I am here to support you!

Working Together: During Coaching
During Session 1, we get crystal clear on your goals, how we’ll measure success, and come up with your first “experiment(s)”; things you’ll try in order to move you closer to your goal(s). These are custom to you.
Every week after sessions will include debriefing how last week’s experiments went and deciding what experiment(s) to do next.
Experiment debriefs happen as part of each following week.
Coaching ≠ Therapy
Coaching can have a wonderful impact, but it is not meant to be a replacement for therapy; if you are struggling to even get out of bed, having full panic attacks, still processing a major past or recent trauma, or in general think that you might have an unmanaged or undiagnosed mental illness then therapy is the best place to start. Coaching can compliment therapy well, either during therapy or after you have “graduated”, helping you perform specific behaviors that will help with your healing. I often work with clients who are either currently in therapy or have “graduated” from it. If you are currently working with a therapist and would like to add coaching to your support network, speak with your therapist first. If you are in doubt about whether coaching or therapy are a better fit, speak with a therapist first.
